Using BirdBrain

Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. Do not interfere with the service, bypass membership or access controls, misrepresent your identity, or upload harmful or unlawful material.

Learning content

BirdBrain provides educational exercises. Identification results can be wrong; check species information independently when it matters. Recordings, photographs and other materials retain their individual credits and licenses. A subscription does not grant unrestricted rights to redistribute them.

Membership and billing

Review the price, billing interval and renewal terms shown at checkout before subscribing. Membership management opens the Stripe customer portal where available. Cancellation and refund questions should identify the relevant transaction. Applicable consumer rights are not waived by these terms.

Your recordings

You retain ownership of your recordings. Processing and use of submissions follow the permissions you select and the recording submission agreement. Submission does not guarantee publication or a reward. Contribution points have no cash value. Read the Recording policy before contributing.

Availability and enforcement

Service features and content may change. BirdBrain may remove content or restrict access for misuse. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
